I got an email from yah.wards32@hotmail.com which claims to be a prize give away but wants bank info is it ok?
It's a scam, there is a FTC consumer complaint form you can fill out. Go here: http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/complaint.shtm for further info.
Reply:It's a scam. You never ever give your bank info to anyone!!
Reply:SCAM! Do NOT do it. Why would they want your bank info??
Reply:no way!!! NEVER GIVE YOUR BANK INFO TO ANYONE OR ANYTHING! "they'res going to be a prize give away, ALRIGHT" from your bank account to them!!! if you a such a winner then they will know how to find you!

don't fall for it!!!
Reply:This a SCAM. Check out the below link for confirmation of various scams, including the famous Yahoo/MSN lottery scams and how to report them.

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

Reply:it's a scam...report it as scam and move on
Reply:The whole thing is a scam, so you're better off giving the fraudulent message the spam "heave-ho" into the garbage. Never assume you win the lottery unless you've paid to play in it.
Reply:Scam, this message is open it, you should not
Reply:Absolutely not! any one/service asking for you to enter credit card info or bank info is going to steal from you. In fact, you should not even open that email if possible. And depending on your email provider, there should be a way to report it as a scam. This is illegal to do (them, not you!)
Reply:A prize give away would have an actual email adress thats a bit harder to get. [ a hotmail account can be owened by anyone ] also just about all things from the net like this are scams. If you want free stuff try the radio, search up events [ most have give aways] and try some schools [ i know my ROTC gives a 38 inch HD TV to people who go to our bar-b-q ]
Reply:Don't ever give out bank information. Unless you want to be robbed blind. Judging from the e-mail address it is spam... and probably someone phishing for information from people who don't know enough not to give it out. I strongly advise you NOT to pursue it any further and report the e-mail.
Reply:nigerian scam
Reply:nope.
Reply:No freakin way. no need to ever give Bank info to get money won in a sweepstakes or contest. Keep your secrets or you'll be victimized.
Reply:It's a scam. Any email asking for bank info is a scam. If you do give them your bank info you have won an empty bank account.
Reply:it is screaming SCAM!!!
