Undisclosed-Recipient@yah... - What is that? Someone sent me an email?

Someone sent me a legitimate email, but it didn't have my name in the "To". It had "Undisclosed-Recipient@yahoo.com" in the "To". I think there's a way to hide who you send emails to so that if you send it to multiple people, they can't see who you're sending it to. Hellosmarty98 anwered my original question incorrectly.

Yes, what you receive is an e-mail that conceals the list of persons that receive the same e-mail.





For most mailers and free web mail if you want to hide the identity of the people who got the e-mail from each other you place them in the BCC: part not in the To: or CC: part.
